T.C. Steel Ltd. is committed to a strong Safety Program that protects its staff, its property, and the public from accidents.

We have an active safety program in place and have achieved our Certificate of Recognition for medium sized employers from Workers Compensation.  We have an in house safety officer directing our safety program, procedures, and initiatives.

Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives. Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, in every job, is necessary to maintain the excellent safety record which this company expects.

Management supports participation in the program by all employees and provides proper equipment, training and procedures.  Employees are responsible for following all procedures, working safely and wherever possible, improving safety measures. 

Our health and safety program is developed in accordance with industry standards and best practices and will meet or exceed federal, provincial, and municipal legislative requirements.
